Thursday 03 09, Agder Teater A great day at Agder Theatre

It was a great day at the Agder Theater, where the highlights were mounting up. Adam Rudolph conducting the organic orchestra with students from the University at Agder Great pleasure for a lot of us. Labfield followed up with their layers of sound. Kim Myhr and Sebastian Roux gave us their beautiful and challenging soundscapes. For some of the audiences, Sidsel Endresen was a highlight. Her voice, her timing, pitching and her mood was very well greeted by a responsive audience. Maja Ratkje performed on Punkt for the first time. She held the audience in an iron grip with her visionary soundscapes, her voice and her incredible stage presence. Jarle Bernhoft as well had a good time at the main-stage. His soul-based singer / songwriter songs were well received by a nearly full Agder Theatre.

Between these excellent performances on the main stage was the live remixes – with Mongolian Jet set featuring BJ. Cole remixing Jarle Bernhoft as a grand finale in an overcrowded Alpha Rom

As always, at he Punkt-festival, the lights and sound was incredible brilliant. And the whole evening was perfectly bound together by the knowledgeable and charming Fiona Talkington from BBC.

Sebastian Roux, who had a great performance with Kim Myhr gave the following message to the Punkt-festival before returned to Paris. This was one of the best organized festivals he had ever attended.

Fortunately, it is not over yet. Exiting artists are queued up to give us loads of experiences for the two next days to come. Welcome!
