Even Sigurdsen Røstad / Emanuel Bang / Audun Skeie

Even Sigurdsen Røstad, Emanuel Bang and Audun Skeie first collaborated at Punkt Festival 2025, where they presented a live remix of Trygve Seim’s Different Rivers. Following the performance, they chose to further develop the project.

The concert received praise from both Norwegian and international critics. Johan Hauknes (Salt Peanuts) described the performance as “new school remix, integrated with old school remix,” writing that it “gives memories of the Punkt that was, while at the same time pointing forward.” Arild R. Andersen (Jazz i Norge) praised how the group “give substance to a new story,” adding that “it never sounds overloaded” and that “our remixers take the curves with flair.”

In Jazzwise, Kevin Le Gendre highlighted the performance as “the pick of the bunch,” describing it as a “smart distillation” of Seim’s score and praising its transformation into “strange, shadowy interludes.”
