Even Sigurdsen Røstad

Even Sigurdsen Røstad is a musician, composer, and technician from Innherred, Norway. currently living in Kristiansand. He operates at the intersection of electronic music, improvisation, and live sampling/remixing, and has developed a live practice based on intuitive sound design and performative methods where risk and spontaneity play a central role.
Røstad’s recent work includes an album release with the electric duo Exploding Heart Technique, as well as concerts with Hamid Drake, Audun Kleive, and Maciej Obara.In 2023 Even
contributed to the Nils Petter Molvær album «Certainty of Tides» featuring the Norwegian Radio Orchestra (KORK). He studied music design at Høyskolen Kristiania and holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic music from the University of Agder, where he studied under Jan Bang.
